We at the Goodwood Islamic Academy strive to be a well-established, highly successful, ethnically diverse comprehensive institution. Our diversity is celebrated as we learn together from one another through our formal and informal Islamic curriculum. Our teachers and students thrive in a mature, supportive, focussed and innovative environment where everyone is a learner. As individuals and the Academy, we are motivated to enjoy, with the will of Almighty Allah, great success through hard work, respect, dignity and integrity.

Our essential aim and objective is to provide  high-quality Islamic education to young children irrespective of race, colour, ethnicity or geographical background; to become a centre of excellence for Islamic academics with spirituality.

We aim to:

 - teach children to read the Holy Qur’an with correct pronunciation (Tajweed). 

 - Impart Islamic knowledge to benefit students in their daily lives, within and  outside the Madrasah environment.

 - provide a safe, friendly Islamic environment where children can reach their full potential.

Alhamdulillāh we are very grateful at Goodwood Islamic Academy that we have a purpose-built space with modern facilities for education. Our Madrasah has 17 classrooms over two floors.

Madrasah Hours

Foundation Classes: Monday to Thursday 5:00 - 7:00pm

Hifdh Class: Monday to Friday 6:00am -7:00am
                                                  5:00pm - 7:00pm

All other Classes: Monday to Friday 5:00pm -7:00pm
