Sister's Tafseer Class

 الۤمّٓ ذَ ٰلِكَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبُ لَا رَیۡبَۛ فِیهِ هُدࣰى لِّلۡمُتَّقِینَ﴾ [البقرة ٢]﴿

The Glorious Quran is indeed the speech of the Almighty Allah Ta’ālā and a book of guidance for mankind. 

We as and Ummah have disassociated ourselves from the Holy Quran. Insha-Allah in these tafseer sessions, the mu'alimah intends to cover the tafseer (exegesis) of the whole Quran from Sūrah al-Fātihah till Sūrah al-Nās with the tawfeeq and help of Allah Ta’ālā. The tafseer of the Quran will be mainly explained by the assistance of Jalālayn of Imām Siyuti r.a and Ma’āriful-Quran of Mufti Shafī’ sahib r.a. 

Undeniably, understanding the Quran is a principal and an important aspect in the life of every Muslim. In reality, understanding the Quran and applying it in our daily life will make a servant of Allah Ta’ālā succeed in all aspects of life. It will create a spiritual bond between us and the Quran and it’ll no longer be a customary recitation which has no meaning and substance to it. 

Our Muslim sisters are highly recommended to embark with us on this spiritual and academic journey and collectively we can maximise from the teachings of Quran. 

- This will be a Free Course, voluntary contributions can be made towards the masjid costs

- Taught by an experienced and qualified ’Ālimah/Teacher with more than 10 years experience 

- Every Wednesday 10am to 12pm (term time only) starting from 27th October 2021

- Unlimited spaces

Sister's Qur'an & Islamic Studies

مَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ 

اللَّهُ لَهُ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ

Whoever follows the path in the pursuit of knowledge, Allah will make a path to jannah easy for him. (Tirmidhī)

Indeed reading the Qur'an with its correct pronunciation and with the rules of tajweed is essential. A person's prayers are more effective and meaningful if they have an understanding of what they are reciting daily in their salāh. 

Insha-Allah in these sessions we shall cover the basics and fundamentals of tajweed with short explanation and commentary of the daily recited Sūrah’s.

Subjects: Tajweed, Daily recited Sūrah’s with short tafseer, daily essential du’ā’s and basic Fiqh 

- £15 monthly fee

- Taught by an experienced and qualified Ālimah/teacher with over 7 years experience. 

- Class timings: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (10am - 11am)
