"‏مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهْوَ حَافِظٌ لَهُ مَعَ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ الْبَرَرَةِ، وَمَثَلُ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهْوَ يَتَعَاهَدُهُ وَهْوَ عَلَيْهِ شَدِيدٌ، فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ‏"‏‏ (رواه البخاري)

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A person who recites the Qur’an and masters it by heart, will be with the noble righteous scribes (the angels in Heaven). And a person who exerts himself to learn the Qur’an by heart, and recites it with great difficulty, will have a double reward" (Bukhari)

"‏مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَمِلَ بِمَا فِيهِ أُلْبِسَ وَالِدَاهُ تَاجًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ضَوْؤُهُ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ ضَوْءِ الشَّمْسِ فِي بُيُوتِ الدُّنْيَا لَوْ كَانَتْ فِيكُمْ فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ بِالَّذِي عَمِلَ بِهَذَا‏"‏ (رواه ابو داود)

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “A person who recites the Qur’an and acts according to its contents, on the day of resurrection his parents will be given to wear a crown whose light is better than the light of the sun in the dwellings of this world if it were among you. So what do you think of him who acts according to this” (Abu Dawud)

A wonderful opportunity for our sisters to memorise the entire Qur’ān, famous Sūrah’s of the Qur’ān or a portion of the Qur’ān.
